O is a recurring character in Torment, appearing in both Planescape: Torment and Torment: Tides of Numenera. He claims to be a letter of the divine alphabet, part of eternity, mathematical, organic and metaphysical. He holds great disdain for mortals and their unthinking ways, but also sees potential of growth into Truth.
Physical appearance
He appears as a man who does not breathe and whose muscles don't move as he does. His eyes seem empty and void, and looking at him gives the impression of staring into infinity.
In Torment: Tides of Numenera he looks like a genderless humanoid, and states that he appears differently to different people.
Involvement
Planescape: Torment
O has spoken to The Nameless One many times in the past, and is amused at how he always seems to die at the threshold of Truth. He speaks to TNO in a rather insulting tone, but if TNO doesn't provoke him or insult him there is great wisdom to be had.
He knows where Pharod and the missing journal are, but refuses to give that information to TNO. He also states that he knows TNO will find both.
O claims to to know parts of many secrets of existence, and being questioned on this line will yield a valuable reward:
